Scholastic Book Fair Nov 8-17
The Scholastic Book Fair is here! The fair will begin on Wednesday, November 8 and run through Friday, November 17. Purchasing books from the Book Fair is a wonderful way to support your children’s reading as well as to support your school’s library and classrooms.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and it’s how we keep the teacher’s classrooms filled with books!
Each child will visit the Book Fair once with their class. Book Fair flyers and a class schedule will be sent home in backpack mail very soon, so please check your children’s backpacks. If you have young children, please send money in an envelope or plastic bag with their name and classroom number on it. Make sure to send enough money to cover the costs of the books as well as sales tax (10.25%).
Parents are welcome to come shop at the Book Fair. Our hours vary so please check the schedule before visiting us. You may also come on Report Card Pickup Day, November 15, between 11-2pm and 3-6 pm. (And don’t forget, this is the time to pick up your catalog orders!)
We still need parent volunteers to staff the Book Fair, especially to help the first-floor students make their selections. If you are interested in volunteering at the fair, please email Disneyptapresident@gmail.com
